(I apologise in advance for this terribly written post; I had trouble putting my happiness into words and I had trouble seeing because my eyes are so teary lol)
This morning before I went to school, I kept refreshing my YouTube feed on my phone, waiting and waiting for Block-B’s MV to come out. I kept checking during break and then finally, at lunch, I got to watch it. Immediately, the feels hit me like a train. It was so hard keeping myself together as I was surrounded by my friends (who are non-K-Pop). Never has a song/music video release made me so emotional.
These boys have been through hell and back, had their names dragged through the mud and they still found the courage to bounce back, stronger than ever. It doesn’t seem real. I’m so proud that I wasn’t one of the ones who turned their back on them when they needed us most. They have been forced to grow up fast, and boy, have they grown. I am so happy that they carried on, even when people said they were over. For the ones who stayed, I am proud to be a part of a fandom, a community, a family, that propped the boys up and supported them even when we were being insulted and cursed at left, right and centre. BBC ‘til I die.
They made it, they really did.
Long live Block B.
